Fashionable bruises?!Modne siniaki!?

Category: Evolution, Fashion, Fashion ShowDunikowski @ 06:21

Bruises on a model's foot. Photo shown on Vogue.co.uk main page for shoes trends for Autumn/Winter 2007/08 season.I’ve been browsing the latest trends on Vogue.co.uk this morning. When I got to the shoes trends page it struck me how could they choose a photo like that to show:

Look at those bruises! Poor thing. That is called a fashion Victim.

If I were a woman I’d think twice before buying these shoes ;).

I know the foot on the photo belongs to a model so she had to change shoes (sometimes wrong size) every 5 minutes and walk a lot, but man! That’s going too far!

And since it is on Vogue main shoes trends page one could conclude that bruises are just part of being fashionable. Is this some remnant of Chinese tradition of foot binding?

Generally I understand the whole fashion and ‘being attractive’ race – it is evolution thing. But that is NOT attractive. Ladies! Your feet are very important. Don’t harm them. No million dollar shoes will make your feet look attractive if they have bruises, scratches and marks. And then, healthy and nice looking feet ARE worth million dollars. There ARE alternatives. Here is one. For more just search for healthy fashionable shoes.Bruises on a model's foot.
