The site had to be written by a talented but unfortunately color blind programmer. It looks awful but is very helpful. After registering and bookmarking a special link you can add all stuff you like to an online wishlist there which can be public or private.

This way you can inform everybody what would you like to get for any coming occasion. You can also rate how much you want it and so on.
